Ahh I almost forgot about this thing!  Well Christmas has come and gone, and now New Year's is on its way!  Christmas was good.  It was nice actually being able to spend time with family and friends.  The past three years I haven't really been able to spend holidays with them due to my job, but I'm going to change that.

So Christmas meant that the NBA is back!  Alright!  Bulls vs. Lakers on Christmas day was great, and I'm so glad that the Bulls won!  It sucks that they lost to Golden State the other night though...  This season is going to be an interesting season.  I have a few predictions that I would like to share.  Here's what I think the standings will look like at the end of the regular season.

Eastern Conference:
1.  Miami Heat
2.  Chicago Bulls
3.  New York Knicks
4.  Boston Celtics
5.  Atlanta Hawks
6.  Indiana Pacers
7.  Orlando Magic
8.  Philadelphia 76ers

Western Conference:
1.  Oklahoma City Thunder
2.  San Antonio Spurs
3.  Los Angeles Clippers
4.  Los Angeles Lakers
5.  Portland Trailblazers
6.  Dallas Mavericks
7.  Denver Nuggets
8.  Houston Rockets

I think I'm stretching a little bit, but who knows.  It could happen!  A couple of teams were hard to place because of what may happen between now and the trade deadline (Magic...).  I think it's a pretty decent guess at it though.  We'll see if it comes true or not...  Anyways, go Bulls!  (And Rockets...)

So New Year's is coming!  I have a few resolutions and goals I would like to share...
1.  Spend all holidays with my family and friends.
2.  Get a consistent work out schedule going.
3.  Go on another cruise!
4.  Expand my sports memorabilia collection.
5.  Get suspension and wheels bought for the RX-8.
6.  Either find a house or get an apartment.
7.  This one is a secret...  :)

I probably have a few others, but for now that's it.  I can't think of anything else at the moment.  On to other topics...

So the other night basically sucked.  For starters, the Bulls AND the Rockets lost their games.  Then, I start the car to head to work and BLINK!  On comes the Check Engine Light.  Great.  So, in the morning I go to Advance and get the code pulled.  Turns out it's RPMs are too high at idle.  Apparently it's either a hose leaking, or a sensor gone bad.  I already had an appointment set up with Mazda on Friday for something else (Clutch Pedal Assembly is cracked, getting it fixed under warranty), so I'll probably just get it taken care of then.  Hopefully it all gets done and taken care of so I don't have to worry about it.  On the plus side this weekend is our trip to Chicago for New Year's!  Got the hotel reservation and the car rental ready, so we'll be leaving bright and early on Saturday morning.  We'll probably be back late Sunday night.  It'll be a good time, this is the first New Year's I've had off in three years also.

Well I guess I should wrap it up for now.  See you all later.

Well I just bought some tickets to go see the Chicago Bulls!  Oh yeah!!!  We're sitting in the 3rd row right by the Bulls' bench and player tunnel.  That's freakin' awesome if you ask me.  It'll be on March 24th, Bulls vs. Raptors.  I can't wait now!

Anyways, other than that we've been trying to make it through the holidays.  Got just about all of our Christmas presents bought, and tonight we're heading up to hang out with a friend of ours about an hour away.  We're doing a little mini secret santa with a few people, so it should be pretty fun.

For New Year's we're planning on heading up to Chicago again.  I think we're just going to find a hotel somewhere, and then head out to Navy Pier and check out the fireworks.  I think it'll be a good time.

Well I just wanted to update really quick about these things, so I'll check you all later.
